Equipment Transportation
Teams are responsible for the transportation of their own equipment. Below we have outlined some basic
information for assisting in the transportation of sporting equipment, specifically large scale items such as
pole vault equipment.

1. If a team wishes to ship their poles directly to Moncton, please use the below address with the
Greater Moncton International Airport as the destination.

The LOC will transport equipment from the Greater Moncton International Airport to the stadium storage
facility (at the outdoor warm-up area).

2. If an IAAF Federation is planning to travel WITH their poles:
a. Immediately contact the air carrier with which you have booked your airline tickets to Moncton.
This includes any sub-carriers associated with your complete flight to Moncton, and also the airline
carrier that will make your departing flight from Moncton.
b. Clearly mark your Pole with your name, country, and contact phone number.
c. Fill out the attached customs clearance form COMPLETELY. See Appendix K.
d. Once you and your pole arrive in Moncton, the LOC will transport the poles to the stadium storage
facility. This request should be made to the competition department (team@moncton2010.ca)
prior to your arrival in Moncton.

For all above options, it is imperative that the IAAF Member Federations understand that the cost of
shipping their equipment is the responsibility of each individual Member Federation. This being said, it will
be beneficial to arrange payment directly with the carrier you chose to send your equipment with.

World Junior Championships, please inform the LOC if you require additional assistance in transporting the
