How to Arrange a Sporti appearance
- Sporti will only make an appearance at an event that has similar values to the Moncton 2010 IAAF World Junior Championships.
- Request must be received at least two weeks prior to the event
- Requests must be submitted using the online request form
- Upon receipt of the online request form, we will review your request and you will receive an e-mail or telephone confirmation that your request has been received.
- If the online request form is incomplete, we will notify you via e-mail or telephone requesting the additional information that is needed.
- Completion of the booking form does not guarantee that Sporti can fulfill the request.
- If we confirm Sporti to attend your event and there is a change in the date or time for any reason, we cannot guarantee that Sporti will be able to accommodate the new date. If any changes occur after the date has been confirmed please notify the mascot coordinator as soon as possible at 506-861-4530 or via email at sporti@moncton2010.ca
- If for any reason Sporti must cancel an appearance, the mascot coordinator will notify the group/event contact immediately and every effort will be made to provide an alternative appearance.
Event Requirements
- Events should provide Sporti with a secure, private changing area before and after the appearance.
- Water must be provided for Sporti upon his arrival.
- Sporti will not loan or rent his costume.
- Cost or mileage will be charged for any event where Sporti will need to travel outside the greater Moncton area.
- All appearances by Sporti are for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time.
After the Mascot has been confirmed
- The mascot coordinator will contact you by phone to discuss the event in more detail and finalize the agreement for the appearance.
- Any uses of the event logo MUST be approved by Moncton 2010
Following the event
- Moncton 2010 retains the right to use any photography or videos taken during the event for promotional or marketing purposes.
- Moncton 2010 requests that any photographs/videos shot during the event be provided to them, preferably in a digital format.
