Media Services

Media Services is responsible for ensuring that all media attending the 2010 event benefit from communications and logistics services provided by a highly professional staff. Media will be provided with up-to-date information on the championship during their stay at the 2010 event. Media services has the mandate to:

• Produce and oversee the distribution of information to the media prior to and during the Championships.
• Oversee the smooth operation of the Main Press Centre.
• Define and oversee installation of all photographer positions for the event.
• Oversee the operation of a Media tribune with all associated technology.
• Organize and promote all competition related press conferences and interviews with interpreters when needed.
• Provide a mixed zone area whereby athletes pass through immediately post event, having the opportunity to conduct short interviews.
• Provide the best working conditions and the most accurate information possible to the media representatives at their accommodation site.
• Provide broadcasters, within the Main Press Centre, the needed information resources.
