For those who purchased their 50/50 tickets during yesterday’s (July 21st) competitions, winning numbers will be posted on Moncton 2010’s website, moncton2010.ca, in the News section. The lucky numbers for yesterday’s tickets were B34350. For whoever has that ticket, $1822 is yours to claim. Winning tickets can be claimed by calling 382-5555 or you can claim it in person at the 50/50 table on site. Please make note that the disclaimer on the tickets which states that winnings must be claimed within two hours will not apply.

The athletes of the 2010 IAAF World Junior Championship will be competing rain or shine. These hardy youngsters will continue to compete today through the cloudiness and occasional showers with spirit and prowess. Although they could perhaps wish for the sunshine and balmy weather of the past few days, they won’t let the overcast skies put a damper on their performances. They will no doubt continue to battle as admirably as they have been thus far, and continue producing personal best times, and even world junior records.
