Larry Nelson, President
President, Lounsbury Group
Larry Nelson is President and CEO of the Lounsbury Group. A Lounsbury employee for 40 years, he has spent his career in sales. He has been President and CEO of the Lounsbury Group for 15 years. In 2004, Mr. Nelson received an Honorary Degree in Arts from the Université de Moncton.
Bill Whalen, Vice President
President, Hawk Communications
Mr. Whalen is a lifelong resident of New Brunswick and a strong community supporter. Mr. Whalen served as Chairman of the Greater Moncton International Airport Authority from 1995-1998, guiding the airport through its transfer to a local airport authority. In 2000, he chaired the Greater Moncton United Way Campaign raising a then-record $1.37 million. He serves as second vice-chair of the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation and is a member of the campaign Cabinet for Lift, a fundraising campaign for the Atlantic Ballet of Theatre of Canada.
Gord Orlikow, Vice President
Chairman of the Board, Athletics Canada
Mr. Orlikow has been a sitting member on the board of Athletics Canada since 2006, before being elected chairman in April 2009. He has extensive experience in the athletics community as a volunteer, coach, official and athlete. Mr. Orlikow was a bronze medalist at the Pan-Am Games in the decathlon event.
Mr. Orlikow received his Master’s degree in Economics from Queen’s University and his Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Manitoba. He is the Executive Search Partner with Korn/Ferry out of Toronto. Mr. Orlikow hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Mike Jenkins, Treasurer
VP Finance & Administration, Lounsbury Group
Mr. Jenkins is the Vice-President of Finance and Administration of the Lounsbury Group. In addition to this position, he was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Lounsbury Group. He joined the company in 2002 and has since then brought a wealth of progressive financial, operational and general management experience along with strong leadership skills to the company.
In addition to this, Mr. Jenkins is a current member of the board of Enterprise Greater Moncton/Entreprise Grand Moncton, and a former board member of Encorp Atlantic Inc. Mr. Jenkins is also a member of the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick.

Joanne Mortimore, Board Member
Chief Executive Officer, Athletics Canada
Joanne Mortimore became Chief Executive Officer of Athletics Canada in September 2005 following an extensive career within the athletics community. She joined the organization in 1990 and became the Director of Finance, a position she held until 1999. In February 2001 she became Chief Operating Officer and has been involved in the management of many international and national level track and field events including the 2003 IAAF World Youth Championships and the 2001 IAAF World Championships. She is also an active member of various congresses and councils within the International Federation and the North American Central America Caribbean (NACAC) region. Currently Joanne sits on the advisory for the Sport Business Management post diploma certificate at Algonquin College following two years of teaching.

Grant Sinclair, Board Member
Consultant, Sport and Recreation Branch, Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport
Grant Sinclair is a consultant with the Sport and Recreation Branch for the Province of New Brunswick. He is responsible for providing support to the overall direction and coordination of provincial programming and provincial sport governing bodies.
He started his career as Director of Parks and Recreation with the town of St. Stephen. Since joining the branch in 1999, Mr. Sinclair has served in multiple administrative roles from Team New Brunswick at the Canada Games and the North American Indigenous Games.
A Native of New Brunswick, he holds a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of New Brunswick, and a Masters in Physical Education (Sport Administration) from the University of Ottawa. He serves as Director for the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame.
Don MacLellan, Board Member
Assistant City Manager, City of Moncton
Don MacLellan has been with the City of Moncton since 1990, having worked in the private sector as well as nine years with the City of Calgary in Alberta. Mr. MacLellan has held a number of positions with the City of Moncton prior to his present role as Assistant City Manager, Planning, Development and Protective Services.
Mr. MacLellan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Western Ontario. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators and the International City Managers Association, and for the past eleven years has been an active committee member for the annual Moncton CIBC Run for the Cure in aid of breast cancer research.

Gloria Jollymore, Board Member
VP University Advancement, Mount Allison University
Gloria Jollymore is the Vice President of University Advancement at Mount Allison University. She came to the university in 1996 as the Director of Alumni Relations and took on responsibilities in development before assuming her current position. Prior to Mount A., Ms. Jollymore held a number of marketing and management positions in organizations across Canada, including Regional Marketing Manager for Atlantic Canada with Tim Hortons. Ms. Jollymore holds an MBA from Saint Mary’s University and a BA from Mount Allison.
Harold Nicholson, Board Member
President, Athletics New Brunswick
Mr. Nicholson was raised in the town of Hartland and attended the University of New Brunswick, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in 1969 and Bachelor of Education in 1970. He started a 35 year teaching career in Miramichi (Chatham), retiring in 2005 to return to his family home in Hartland.
Mr. Nicholson began coaching Track and Field in 1980 and over the years sat on the provincial board, being elected President of the provincial association in 1989, a position he currently continues to hold.
Mr. Nicholson attended the Canada Games in 1985, 1993, 1997 and 2009 and attended les Jeux de la Francophonie in 1989 and 1994. He also attended the IAAF World Youth Championships in 2005 as part of the Canadian delegation and the NACAC Under-23 Championships in the Dominican Republic in 2006.
Denis Losier, Board Member
President and CEO, Assomption Vie
Denis Losier is a very active and well known member of the Greater Moncton community. He holds a Bachelor’s in Arts and a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences (major in economics) from the Université de Moncton and a Master’s of Arts in Economics from the University of Western Ontario. In 2003, the Université de Moncton, in recognition of his achievements, awarded him an Honorary Degree in Business Administration.
Mr. Losier is President and CEO of Assumption Life, a life insurance corporation, president of the company’s subsidiaries and president of Louisburg Investments. Assumption Life is one of the most important life insurance companies in the Maritimes. Mr. Losier is also a member of the board of several companies, community groups and associations.
Warren C. Maddox, Board Member
Director, Economic Development & Tourism, Town of Sackville
Warren Maddox has over 20 years of experience in the administration of non-profit organizations in the Maritimes. Starting in theatre after attending one of only two Arts Administration courses in Canada, he has worked for Theatre New Brunswick, The Ships Company Theatre, NB Special Olympics, The Nature Conservancy of Canada, Science East and the Town of Sackville. He has worked as a consultant for a number of organizations over the years on fundraising and organizational development.
He began work with the town of Sackville as the Coordinator for their 2008 Cultural Capitals Project which invested over a million dollars in arts, culture and heritage projects for the town. Upon completing that contract position he was moved into the role of economic development and tourism with the town where he has continued to promote arts, culture and heritage as economic drivers for a small, diverse community.
Warren Maddox splits his time between Sackville and Fredericton where he lives with his wife and a host of SPCA pets. He is actively involved with a number of volunteer initiatives in both communities. He also does a weekly spot on CBC Radio's afternoon show "Shift" where he talks about live music in the province.
Chief Operating Officer:
Nancy McKay, C.O.O.
Ms. McKay is the owner of Management Dimensions Inc., and has been a management consultant, primarily in health services, for the past eighteen years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy and a Master’s Degree in Science (Administration) with a concentration in the health sector. Her experience spans 33 years in diverse areas including leadership and participation in projects as:
- Health and health policy consultant
- Health professional, physiotherapist
- Strategic and operations planner
- Administrator and human resource planner
- Project and program manager
- Group facilitator with strong consensus-building skills
- Leader in voluntary and community organisations
Ms. McKay recently received the “Women Entrepreneur of the Year” in the Chaleur region and is a director for the Port of Belledune. She is involved with a number of non-profit boards including Enterprise Chaleur, the N.B. Sports Hall of Fame and the Foundation Board for the provincial Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation. She is currently on the 2011 and 2013 Bid Evaluation Committee for the Canada Games Council and served as Bid Committee Co-Chair and Vice-Chair of the 2003 Bathurst-Campbellton Canada Winter Games. Ms .McKay has been past president of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and a member of the executive committee of the World Confederation for Physiotherapy. She also co-chaired the Roundtable on the Economy and Sustainable Development for the Greater Bathurst Region and chaired a committee planning for future economic diversification.
